Simpson Meets His Maker

At this year’s Comic-Con in San Diego, I met a number of my friends and also a few of my heroes. But only one of these folks created the most famous Simpson family in the world, and I’m not talking about my parents. I was hanging out at the Spike and Mike booth when the creator of The Simpsons, Matt Groening, walked up to say hello to Spike, and I quickly snapped this photo. I somehow managed to keep myself from saying “MY LAST NAME IS SIMPSON! YOU CREATED THE SIMPSONS - WOW!”
